If we were to meet in real life - what would be your greatest achievement?

That has benefit to society. Getting wasted on a weekly or weekend basis may be an achievement to someone but generally the world would see the person as little but a failure.

Still a bit questionable as to the benefits to society but I developed some techniques for rendering computer graphics (most specifically, to simulate light very efficiently and with reasonable accuracy) when I was younger which is now widely used in films, television, video games, architecture, and also by NASA.

It's mostly used for film, television, and video games though which might be of questionable benefit to society being mostly entertainment.

I talked someone out of ending their life I feel that I helped them understand that their life was more important to friends and family
