Guys, This guy is confusing me. What does he mean by maybe there’ll be a time and place we can meet again?

I met this guy the other day and he gave me his number and said I hope that I hear from you. I texted him 30 minutes later when I got home. I told him it was so nice meeting you :). Then he texted back. It was great meeting you too. Maybe there’ll be a time and place we can meet again. I really don’t know how to read that response from him. Why is he saying maybe is he not interested? I had responded back I would really like that! He said nothing back to that. It’s been 1 day. I feel like if he was interested enough he would have planned a date with me. I’m really not sure how to read this situation as I really did like him. However, I don’t want to chase him. Should I just assume he’s not interested and just forget about him or should I be the one to try to set up a date? I don’t know.

If I were you, I wouldn't hit him up again just yet. Let him sit on it for a bit. But no harm in casually bringing it up one more time before writing him off, you know?

I'd say wait like a week and then text something flirty like "So... when's that 'maybe' meeting happening? 😉" Ball's in his court then.

If he doesn't ask you out or make plans within the next few days after that, I'd take it as him not really being feeling it. You don't want to chase hard if he's only kinda interested.

Play it cool but make your interest clear. That way you'll know for sure whether to focus your energy elsewhere or give him another chance. He could just be shy for all we know!

But don't kill yourself wondering about him, you feel? You're a catch - his loss if he's not stepping up! Stay positive, sis. The right one will sweep you off your feet for sure.
