I followed him first on social media and he followed back. We already know each other but years ago we had a fall out. We were never in a relationship. I sent him a message and he didn't respond. He used to like what I post, now he doesn't like anything.

So you experienced what I talk about frequently here, which is: stop thinking that likes/follows/how long it takes to respond/etc has as much value as real communication. It doesn't, and your experience exemplifies that.

Remedy: If he is just a casual person in your life, ignore him from a couple of years. Meet new people instead.
