I broke up with my ex 9 months ago. I went no contact on him. I changed my phone number and deleted all my social media so he couldn’t reach out. December 15 he emailed me saying that he misses me and for me to come back to him. I don’t want nothing to do with this man. This man treated me like crap. I just blocked his email. I’ve been single all this time working on myself and healing. I’m not talking or seeing any man. I’m just focusing on me. Why would my ex be emailing me out of the blue? Should I have responded back?

You have come soooo far to slip back into this relationship. Typically, if they will do it once then they will do it again. And, if they do it for you then they will do it to you. Glad to hear you blocked the email contact. Be safe and enjoy the Christmas season.

Absolutely ignore him, and block his email too!!! Don't let him fool you into going back to a bad relationship again.

As for why he reached out? One of two things: he realized he made a mistake, and losing you made him want you back.

Or he's lonely and/or horny. Could be a mix of both reasons. But you said it was a bad relationship and you're working on healing right?

Remember how bad things were when you were with him so you won't make the same mistake twice.
