Basically this guy and I have been on and off for 3 years. This final time, he cheated on me and I decided I was done. He is emotionally abusive ( has gotten physical- grabbing on me, holding me against the wall), puts me down, then cries, then threatens to hurt himself if I don't talk to him. He's been texting me non stop for 3 days now. ( I attached the messages below ) . And calling over and over. I stopped replying and haven't messaged back since. Should I just continue to ignore him or say something? Is this normal behavior from a guy? I'm in the blue, his messages are in the gray.

Doesn't take on responsibility and says he'll self harm himself if you goe away (it's a cry for attention), if someone close does that to you they need to be psych evaluated and go into therapy.
