It happened to me today, was laughing with a male friend out on the grass at university during a break. Bf's class finished and came out to join us, he walked in when we were laughing really hard at something.

He told me later he was a little annoyed...why?

This is the problem with the younger generation. Yes, I’d be pissed wares the boundaries. This is a form of emotional cheating. Hmmm if I was dating a girl she would be allowed to have male friends because I wouldn't date somebody I didn't trust anyway. It wouldn't bother me.. I'd probably laugh at jokes from my female friends too.. it's whatever to me.

We all get irrational jealousy at times though and it's understandable.

I wouldn't say this is a jealousy issue. Perhaps he needs some reassurance that he is the one you care about. It's harder for some people to be okay seeing their significant other with another male/female, if they are feeling a bit insecure about the relationship.

Remind on a regular basis that you care for him not just with your words but actions as well.

For some..it is hard to see their SO talking and having a good time without them and

with the opposite gender. He might think that the guy actually had a chance with you and

is a little insecure about it. Just reassure him that he doesn't..and ask if there is anything you

can do to help.

Depends on the guy. It's not a matter of whether or not I trust her, it's him. It's also not a matter of whether or not I'm afraid she'd do anything with him in a moment of weakness, I just don't like it if a guy who is that close to my girl wants to bone her, especially if he would given the chance.

Based on my experience, said men only talked to my ex because they wanted to screw her, and they left when they knew it wouldn't happen. They ended up making her uncomfortable either by unwanted come-ons, touching, or they straight up tried to seduce her, which pissed me off. Is that irrational?

If she/you were laughing at the little things that aren't very funny (even to a male that laughs pretty much at everything), such as talking slowly, or dragging on words. Those things are not very funny when the guy is clearing doing it for a response, mainly from the female.

Do you find that ok? Its an issue I've had lately with my girlfriend. It rarely happens (once in the last year) but that's why it alarms me. Its not like that's just her normal behavior.
