Why don't men approach me?

What would keep a man from approaching a women? Let me try to describe my self (from what people have always told me) I'm not an unattractive person, I have people always telling me how beautiful I am, men always tell me how beautiful I am, beautiful smile, eyes etc.. am a nice respectful person, i can get along with everyone, im not loud and obnoxious, i am respectful to myself.. i have had guys/ men who are interested in me but I only have ever found out by other people telling me so (friends/family memebers)... but men don't ever approach me, at gatherings, when I'm out alone or with friends... there have even been times throughout my life where a more "unattractive" (other ppls words not mine! Dont come for me! ) friend would get approached while we are out.. I thought maybe it was my resting bitch face but... my sisters is worse then mine and she even gets approached lol... it's a real confidence blow despite the fact that I get all these compliments.. so I'm wondering is everyone lying to me? Lol just curious

People telling you.. who? Ignore your relatives and friends. Ask someone who will give you honest advice.

and random women at the stores etc lol not all the time but yeah I've had random women come up to me.. but not men lol

Women tend to judge other women on their grooming, clothing, hairstyle. For men all that is of little importance. We look at her face for happiness and signs of intelligent life, and at her figure.

That's just a first impression. If we get to know a woman we will be more concerned with her personality and compatibility. But regardless of all that a man at a healthy weight is unlikely to date an obese woman.

I think it is just that you have bad luck. I don't see any other reason otherwise. If you are doing everything right and just being yourself

Maybe the complements are not real and are just said to " be nice". Maybe you are really not that attractive
