I keep getting mixed messages from a guy I loved. He said he’s in love with me, was always interested; then I asked him out and he said he wants to be Facebook acquaintances, after agreeing to a date, then never getting back to me. Now he’s doing what he did in the past, posting questions online about shy men, referring sometimes to parts of conversations we previously had. What’s going on here? Does he simply want to pass on a message? How exactly should I handle this?
