Husband mentioning something his female colleague said more than 10 times?

My husband isn’t really one to repeat things. He has mentioned a female coworker who he said is nice. She recommended a restaurant to him that we went to with me. Before going to the restaurant, he mentioned about eight times on different occasions ‘Lucy said this restaurant is really good’.

We went to the restaurant. We both didn’t like it. Again, on about 5 different occasions said ‘I can’t believe Lucy recommended this restaurant’.

Am I reading too much into this?
