Why are so many white men fat phobic?

Question

I notice a lot of white men think thick women are fat and won't date them. Or they are overly disgusted by women that have a belly. I'm not trying to make this about race but men of other races tend to be more accepting of all body types. Why is this?

My only guess is that white men are unhappy with themselves and have to find someone to bully

This has nothing to do with race…

Not only white men… healthy men want and go for healthy women who take care of herself mentally, physically, spiritually, financially and educate themselves by not only listening to some doctor… but want the same value to have/want the best for their off springs…

many are raised by mentally ill women the past 2 generations..:so they are not picking the healthy women… the down hill of the US.

there are no right/good reason for being over weight unless they have health issues.. and even then… still can work to get back to healthier weight (that requires, time, hard work) anyone over/under weight is not going to be good later in the long run. … they don’t want hard work… the system recognizes that… so they come out with the easy solution by giving drugs…

men want women who are healthy to raise healthy kids. And have a good happy family.

they don’t want to deal with kids and obesity and kids who over eat because their mom isn’t caring for their health and well being… or women who doesn’t have good eating habits among other things…

most US couples are very unhealthy… they encourage buying more food/junk food/eat sweets at a high age…and not eating together as a family… they go off to different part of the house to eat … they put kids in front of the TV…iPads:games/tv are their baby sitting tools…

What I am saying … American men are marrying low quality women and these women are not raising kids and making excuses why they live the way they do.

this is not a race related issue.

don’t get me wrong there are the top 10-20% who are not in the category I mentioned… but most in the US are over weight and blame others or make excuses for being okay without.
it’s a sick society the US created inside the 80s. For a good reason… it’s evil… because humans are easily manipulated by the system.

I think because white men think they are "the best" hence they think they deserve the best looking women (which is stereo typically thin blonde women). Not all white guys are like this though, but a lot are.

I know why... especially if you're considering a long-term relationship. If you're considering a long-term relationship (which might be why you're looking at the white men's expectations in particular), that could be for life. You will be fucking that and only that and if she's already fat... where do you think it's mostly going to go? You think she's suddenly going to decide to diet and slim down... or get even more fat?

I think why white men are singled out the most here is because they tend to be thinking long-term more often than certain other races. That's all I got to say about the race stuff.

With all that said... a dude will gladly fuck a fat chick as long as there is no consideration of having to fuck that and only that for the rest of his life.

Healthy wants healthy basically. I can't argue against that. Not just physical health from the dude's side either. Think about this... if you worked your ass off and have money... you're attracting bitches that just want money, but now you're fat and old because you sacrificed your health for that money. You gonna give it all away to some chick that's just as unhealthy as you physically or give it all away to some hawt chick that also values your money enough to bounce on your dick and ignore you just as much as the fat chick would ignore her physical health?

It's a culture thing  if you are talking about preferences, which is why I think a lot of East Asians are like that too.  As for spreading hate?  There's a lot of possible reasons such as they like getting a rise out of people or genuinely hurting other people's feelings.  For being thick or having a belly,  I do not think most men care (including white)  unless it is a lot . I say that, since most women do not have flat stomachs, yet a lot of them are in relationships. Hell, I prefer it, but  I think now days you see it varies a lot more in what everyone likes.

I mean, it depends. I think it's fair not to want to date someone who is literally obese, or whose body weight prevents them from being active. But yeah, I have noticed a lot of white guys especially who call women whales just for having a bit of belly and larger thighs, even if the girl is healthy, fit, and has a pretty face. For some of them, it's an oversaturation of porn and impossible Instagram model standards. For others, it's bitterness and the rush of bullying people to make yourself feel good. But I'm pretty sure a lot of it is culture. Some other cultures appreciate larger or at the very least, more fulsome women who aren't necessarily the coveted 'hourglass' shape, which seems to be one of the only acceptable ways to not have to be super slim in Western society.

Theybthink they are too good to be with anyone overweight. They all want the woman with the perfect body but they need to look at themselves. A lot of them are not prizes either.

A nice body is nice but more important is who she is as a person. There are a lot of overweight women who have very pretty faces and have great personalities.

They need to learn that bodies change over time. A very slender woman can be nice now but later in life can become very overweight. It still does not change who they are.

The same also applies to women when looking at a man.

There is this woman in UFC fit who likes to get a bit close to me. She is attractive anyways but recently I noticed her waist has gotten smaller and her butt has narrowed. She has the bubble butt look that all women seem to strive for. If a person is fat phobic they could miss out on what that woman may become.

It is not a matter of having a phobia of body fat, men and women aspire to have a healthy and attractive partner, being overweight or underweight is not an indication of good health, unattractive appearance is only a consequence.

I have never understood this stupid body positivity that is intended to make people accept unhealthy physique models, it is counterproductive in my opinion, body positivity should spur people to improve, to value themselves, to become the best version of themselves, without aspiring to absolute perfection, which unfortunately due to corrupted nature is impossible to aspire to.

Those that feel that can be choosy. Chose to be choosy. a lot of young attractive delusional women who have sky high requirements, and some get those requirements. Some men are probably a cocky bunch who feel they can ask for a lot more because they fit societies standard of what is attractive more.

Its not just White people. Look at China or India. Asian men look at fat women and they say it in there face, like the culture hardly even views it as a problem. If anything western culture is a bit more sensitve about at least there is a discussion to be had. Not just full on disgrace and discarded goods.

I feel like culture as a whole is accepting more thicker women. Like come on now, most guys are just asking for a healthy girl and not rail thin girl.

I think a lot of it may be that white guys have the easiest time in the dating pool so they can be more picky. It also might be cultural peer pressure kind of thing. I'm a bit of a chubby chaser and I've had friends try and talk me out of certain women.

For me personally. I like to live an active life. I like to workout , hi biking riding, walking hiking. Playing sports being outdoors do activities. My health is a huge priority to me. So try to eat clean. So I do not see a bigger woman in my life. I know sometimes it's a disease. But other times it's laziness, stress, etc. I know 2 friends that gif married. My friend was always a big guy, she was in the slimmed side. Today she has gained so much weight. So your partner can be bad for you. Been over a year she's been trying to slim down. But if you eat bad, all that hard work does nothing. If you do not care about your health, you are not for me. And that counts for skinny girls too. Too skinny and unhealthy isn't for me. I just want healthy.

That’s not true, each person has their own preferences in desirability. I know lots of guys of many races and each one has their own preference. Lots of my white friends like bigger /thicker girls and lots of my black friends like skinny girls. The stereotype isn’t true.

Me personally, i judge a body tule on how many of my favorite hobbies i can enjoy with that person. Fat girls seem to me to be much less likely to enjoy long hikes and working of projects together outside in the heat. The women I’ve dated have reinforced my ideas.

So I prefer a thinner/athletic girl because I am a thinner/athletic guy

Doesn't really have anything to do with race. What men and women find sexy is generally a biologically healthy partner. I've got a six-pack and I don't mind if a woman has a little belly, however as soon as she has visible fat rolls, I'm out. She won't pass the boner test at that point. Not being attracted is not the same as being "phobic". Obesity tends to come with health problems and poor physical fitness. A man who hopes to enjoy physical activity with his partner isn't going to be attracted to a woman unable to climb a hill.
