I'm here because I JUST ran into this from my side. A perfect looking girl smiled at me, and we had a complete chemistry. I managed to smile back, at a distance, but when I got into the lift I suddenly got very paranoid and came over massively shy. I worried her smile was for someone behind me or something so I looked away, then I felt bad not looking so looked back, then felt I was staring. It was hell. I had told myself she would get tired of me and lose interest. So I looked away, and honestly, 20 years ago I'd have avoided her gaze because I'd worry I was harassing someone with it. Now, I want to NOT be THAT guy. So, should I ever see her again I'm going to actually SAY something, anything. Though like I say 20 years ago, I'd have just slinked off. Not proud.
