What does it mean if a guy texts me places he's at and sometimes selfies and asked me to text him a selfie?

I've met this guy initially in person and we've been in touch by text ever since. In one of his texts he asked if I was single in which I told him I'm married but was still interested in staying as friends. We usually text pics of places we're at and he usually texts more selfies than I do.

What does it mean if a guy texts me places he's at and sometimes selfies and asked me to text him a selfie?
