It doesn't creep me out so much. I've gotten used to homosexuals hitting on me. That said, whether it's a guy or girl calling me perfect, my knee-jerk reaction is to point out my flaws. I really don't want to be put on a pedestal; I'm bound to disappoint anyone who does.

I'm kind of allergic to many compliments in general. Like if a person says, "You're so smart," I want to reply, "You haven't seen my dumb side yet. Just wait for it." A lot of people seem to think an allergic to compliments like this is a sign of low self-esteem but I don't think I have low self-esteem. I just don't want people to expect more of me than I can deliver.

Also, creepy is a sign of a lack of respect and sexual attraction. It is a sign his personality and behaviours need a growth mindset.
