I just recently realized i got a crush on this guy in my college class we are studying nursing and during class i asked if he can text me some of his notes and he said sure and it was left as that but last week we had mid terms and when i got my score back i stormed out of class because i failed and he ran after me and asked me what happened and seemed really concerned it was at that moment i realized i actually like him. Anyways i got the opportunity to retake my exam and passed so tomorrow is class and i want to ask him can we have lunch together or should i just keep it friendly?

Girl I totally get feeling shy about asking him out, but from what you described it sounds like he really cares how you're doing! Guys don't usually chase after a girl and check on her unless they're interested too.

I say go for asking him to lunch! You can play it cool and be like "Hey, since we both passed our exams I thought we could celebrate over lunch in the cafeteria - you in?"

That way it's casual and low pressure. But don't be too shy to go sit by him either. Smile and chat about class or your future careers. Ask what he likes to do for fun on weekends too.

Who knows, he might even be the one to suggest making it a real date next time! Worst case he says he's busy, but at least you shot your shot. You'll feel so much better getting it off your chest.

Of course you can go for it but I’d say to be ready for whatever the outcome may be. It’s always going to be a gamble, just make sure it’s worth the risk.
