I talked with someone the other day and as I laughed at something he said, his face lit up and I noticed how happy and excited he became. He couldn’t even hide that.
It was cute actually.
Is it so important for men to make women laugh?
From my perspective, it's a diplomatic tool to deescalate social conflicts and tensions.
A woman who can laugh at my jokes or anyone else's means that she's capable of taking things lightly that might offend some other people. It shows that she has inner strength and sophisticated thinking patterns that don't require everything to be spelled out to her literally.
A person who takes everything seriously is bound to get offended by any joke, be confused by anything that doesn't mean directly what it means, and lack laughter as a way to relieve stress and avoid getting upset over trivial things. They're either dimwits or people with a massive chip on their shoulder.
Specifically if I can make a woman laugh at my jokes, it means I can always use that as a tool to ease tensions with her. So it's a sign to me a compatible partner with whom I can have a very healthy relationship as there are more ways available to connect and deescalate conflicts with each other.
Because it’s his way of flirting with her and letting her know he likes her without coming on to strong to her , if he can make her smile and laugh then he feels maybe he might have a chance with her , he wants her to see a side of him that makes it easier for her to feel safe and relaxed with him. Most girls’ I am attracted to I try to make them laugh and put a smile on her face , so they see me differently than what they might assume I am to begin with , I am pretty Much showing her I am actually a down to earth guy that likes to smile and laugh instead of being unsure about me or intimidating by me. I consider myself a very laid back outgoing guy, that loves to socialize and mingle with people , I want people to feel comfortable around me and not have anything to worry about , I am told I can turn a crowded room of quiet people into a party lol
Not all man😂 some man only cause pain and makes woman cry. Maybe only clown enjoy making woman laugh, and most clown happen to be man.
They like to make girls happy. It makes them happy. They feel like they’ve done a good thing. My boyfriend loves making me laugh.

Humor is often seen as a sign of intelligence and creativity, traits that are generally attractive in a potential partner. By making a woman laugh, a man/guy may feel that he is demonstrating his intelligence which could be appealing to her.
It feels good for anyone to make someone else laugh. That's why I think someone can be charismatic not just by making others laugh, but being able to laugh easily is another way.
Any way that makes people feel good.
It's a pleasant sound to listen to, for one thing. But I think even more than that, we just know that women like to laugh.
Every woman I've ever spoken to has listed a great sense of humor in the top 3 things she looks for in men.
It's literally musical to us. The tone of the laugh is melodic and it gives away far more than you realise.
A guy can hear the first time you laugh if he's going to be going on a second date.

It shows that they're interested in what we have to say, laughing is associated with being comfortable, fun, vulnerability, and opening up.
It’s like a fun game making people laugh. In moderation, it helps put people at ease for other followup tasks, whatever those tasks may be. It serves as an affirmation of intelligence and social queue that more socializing may continue.

He probably wants to date/marry you. That's the only reason he is doing that.
Just friends isn't a reason for me at least. I mean I could have a good talk with a woman but I never try something like that.
Why? Well, you have a beutiful smile, and you don't show it enough.
To me I love making people laugh, regardless of the gender. Makes me feel good.

It's always seemed like a form of acceptance to me. If you can make people laugh especially the opposite sex, you're covered in a large part.
