Need help please my crush other morning was annoying me via text last Friday morning with those silly gifs.. I kept asking what they meant and are you just annoying me. This was right out of his character never got an answer was he after my attention? Wanting to me on my mind for the weekend which worked!

Young guys can be very chaotic. It's difficult to determin any meaning when the person themselves is just acting out (meaning just doing whatever seems 'fun' or ""right""in some moment).

I'd say though a few things are common, if any guy is sending you a lot of messages there's some kind of interest (unless the messages are 'spam' style message, advertising something or just a thoughless round robin sent out to every friend they have. So yes, likely he was attracting attention, though him not replying might suggest he's generally seeking attention.

Secondly, if someone is sending you stuff, and when you ask them a question you don't get an answer. that does rather suggest their more thoughtless sends than wanting to try to keep them in your mind.
