My guy friend constantly teases me about liking or crushing on other guys. These are guys I clearly have no interest in whatsoever and he KNOWS this. I know he is only joking with but I'm wondering why the consistency in doing this.
He is also extremely tuned in about my love life. What I mean by this is that I am a single woman but he consistently asks me if I have been going on dates recently or he would say things like "Sooo... when are you getting a man?" or "Get a man"
He does this LITERALLY all the time.
I've never had someone as overwhelmingly curious about my dating life than him.
Is this normal and why does he do this?

Girl, I think I know what's up with your "friend" here. Sounds like he might have a little crush on you himself!
Like why else would he be so obsessed with bringing up guys and your love life? Boys tease girls when they like 'em, it's just our lame way of flirting sometimes.
And constantly asking if you've been on dates? Dude's feeling jealous! He wants to be the one taking you out, I'm sure of it.
If I were you, I'd start flirting back a little. Bat your eyelashes and giggle at his jokes instead of rolling your eyes. See how fast his tune changes - I bet he'll stop bringing up other guys so much too.
Next time you're together alone, really hold eye contact when you talk. I'm telling you, he's gonna trip all over himself trying to make a move! Then you'll have your answer for sure whether he likes you or not.
Go get your man, girl! Sometimes we gotta give these clueless guys a little nudge. ;)
Most men are so immature till they reach their 30s at least. That is what you are dealing with here, I must assume.
