Not a big deal just wondering what I should do with my classmate?

So im in college and i have this one guy that has moved his spot and now is sitting next to me in class ( i was already sitting front row, diagnal back from me) and we are really the only people up front. I sent him a message on our school database for philosophy recommendations. ( since we do inside jokes during class) its been awhile no answer. And today he asked if i can recommend him a list of websites i use to read books for free. Now , i dont know if i actually should. Im thinking about just writing stuff down and just being done with it.

I'm a bit confused. Is the question about whether you should give him a website for books? Why wouldn't you? If this isn't a big deal as stated then why ask and why not give it to him? If he hasn't answered maybe he is busy with you know... school. Is it that big of a deal to just message him the list of websites? Sounds like it wouldn't take that long and help him out. It is then on him to check his messages and use your recommendation. I don't get why this is even a question.

I mean im just wondering lol sometimes theirs perspectives where people would say just not say anything to him. Im surprised that this is such an odd question for you to answer. Im just wondering the most appropriate way to go. Since like i said i could send it to him or just write them down and be done with it 😂😂

Ya cause there's this i do called overthinking. Instead of vocalizing them to everyone i ask my simple questions online which most people do… so lol
