I can't answer for girls 100% but what I have seen it appears to be true. Now guys 100% true if my friends are nice to me I assume something is wrong or his wife is around he has to behave which means open season for me on him lol. I once worked with a girl that did not understand that all. She got mad at me and my work friend for always picking on each other and she told us friends don't do that. She did not care when we told her that is how guys are. I was a dumb highschool student back then so me and him started picking on each other more around her till or boss told us to stop because she was sick her her being mad at us even though she knew she was wrong about it. Lol ops.

Absolutely true. Everything I say to my work mates comes normally by way of an insult.
Example: “ hey Tony, I know it’s beyond your ability but do you think you can do your job and finish this today, so I can do my job?”
If I didn’t insult them they would know there is a serious problem…
Girls…. I have watched them lie to each other and compliment their dress and as soon as they walk away say “That dress is hideous.” 🤣

True I think that women will compliment without it being meant. Yesterday, at the cafe, I saw two girls greeting and one said I love your jacket. It was a black puffer jacket indistinguishable from the countless other ones. I don't for one moment think the girl especially loved this indistinguishable black puffer jacket.

Possibly though it meant she disliked everything else the girl was wearing and she picked the inoffensive item.

If by insult each other you mean throwing 'banter' around? Yes we do that ALL the time.
As for women? When my wife compliments another woman, she has never said to me afterwards anything to the contrary..

I never believed anyone would insult another person and "not mean it" To begin with, I would never deliberately insult someone, man or woman, but those that are crass and asshole enough to do it... they do mean it !

Yes, this is true. We have multiple terms and phrases that refer to trash talking someone in a friendly way. “giving you s**t” And I’ve definitely seen women give fake compliments before.
