Do guys ever alter their social media to avoid a girl?

I am sure some do it. They might go private or put certain information on there to avoid talking to someone. I have never personally done that or had anyone (to my knowledge) do it to me. At least not that I could tell. I don't really do a lot on social media outside of close friends and family. I have mine pretty well locked down. So it isn't like I would be talking to or sharing things with random guys where that would happen. I would think the most common thing in that situation would be to make a profile private or block someone to avoid them. I am sure girls do similar.
