Do guy friends text female friends after midnight?

I have known this guy for a decade. We went from working together to friends I would say. He is married (just to add context). In the last few years I found him texting me more often, and especially late at night. He would send me youtube videos, tell me about a game he is playing that he thinks I would like. Or if I had asked him something earlier he would circle back and respond more about it. A few times I woke up to messages "Go back to sleep im just leaving a link".

He always tries to send things he thinks I would find interesting or hilarious. Nothing sexual has ever directly come out. But sometimes within the video he sends they might talk about sexual topics which throws me off. Sometimes im like "Does he realize the context of what he is sending me". Recently he sent one where the host was like "And just like that they want me to suck their d**k". And somewhere in the video they spoke about "d**ks" for a split second.

Another time he made a song with Ai and he sent it late at night... it was cute but the lyrics were like "I want to watch this with you..."

There's just these hidden things in the stuff he sends late at night that makes me go hmm... Anyways have at it... what's your thoughts? Guys just randomly have their female friend in mind that much? Especially when they have a wife and kids?

It really depends! Some guy friends text their female friends whenever, day or night, if they know they're night owls or they just have something to share. But others might be more mindful of the late hour and wait until the morning. The best way to know? Just ask your friend! Casually mention you saw a funny meme and see if they're down for late-night texting, or you could always wait until the morning.

He shouldn't be doing what you described if you are married and have a family.

The time of day isn't relevant. It would be the content in the texts. I have female friends that I might be gaming with or texting. I stay up late and so do they. It makes sense to talk to a friend that is up late too.

This makes sense. In my scenario I am actually not awake. I wake up to these 12am - 3am messages on my phone. He does text during the day when he's at work or on his off days. But sometimes the context of the late ones are a little "hmm"
