my ex sent an I miss u text and then unsent it 3 mins later last night. He called me a week before asking to talk and telling me he misses me but I kinda blew it off. But now I miss him but I’m not sure why he unsent the message. He was the one who broke up with me about 2 months ago

You should ask him. Also, ask yourself how you felt about the break up? If the breakup felt hurtful and his reasons seemed to you to undermine any future possible relationship, then you should try to move on. If though you could find a way to understand his reasons for breaking up, then reach out to him and just let him know how you feel.

I would guess (and its a total guess, hence why asking him) that he just genuinely misses you, but then when you blew him off he maybe continued to miss you, reached out, but then realised he's being soppy (guy thing) so unsent the message. He might even have been drunk on a night out, got nostalgic for your company and sent the message, then later, soberer unsent it then. Again I'm guessing so think what you want, and if its to keep the possibility of getting back together open, reach out and talk to him.
