And took extra effort and brought me to this park beforehand and the car ride wasn’t awkward at all and then took me to his house to grab something met his family and saw his room then just he asked if I still liked him or not and yeah and then stayed by me and asked if I was okay the whole time and lots of eye contact and conversations and closeness and drove me home on time too so does he like me and stayed sober for me at the party and just made all this effort and taking me to the park it felt very personal you know sooo? So, I got to ask, is this guy a virgin or religious? Because taking a girl home to meet his parents on a first date and asking your dad for permission to take you out. I mean back is the day this is what they would consider proper courting.

Like 15 and 16 years would do that stuff in the 1980's or so... by the 1990 it became very antiquated. But in some areas of the country, if you plan on getting out of highschool getting married and taking over the family business... and basically staying in the same place for the rest of your life and raising kids together... I am just saying he is trying to do all the right things and prove to you he's a good guy.

But it's not the 1890's anymore and most that stuff would be consider over the top. Like most people just want to hang out and have fun, and not be so formal or proper about expressing their intentions. Puts a lot of pressure on thing starting out.
