Why do majority of guys think its all right to talk about women in such disrespectful ways, as if they are objects?

I am not saying this as if this is something all men do and that it is only men who do this. However, I find that it seems way more common among men to talk about women in inappropriate and disrespectful ways even when nothing is being done to warrant such thoughts (I understand thoughts can't be controlled but there has to be a limit and some measure of self control). I have also noticed that talking about things like that tend to give men some sort of satisfaction from degrading the women around them and even those they love, why is that?

Like the other asker said I haven’t seen this in the majority of men. But ones who do that often are mimicking others and feel like they are superior. Could come from a source of immaturity or insecurity. At least once you detect it you can better handle them and not respect what they say. Sorry if I stated the question wrong. I mean I find it more common with guys and I don't mean all guys and I don't mean only guys, but I find that they talk about women in ways that seem to objectify them saying things like "I would hit that" after just meeting them. I know women do this aswell but I find it common among men

I don't know where I said I thought that but ok. Also I don't watch magic Mike, I'm a minor. I think I have experienced enough to be catcalled while walking in my school uniform, hearing guys around me shouting rude things at women who don't want their number and making sexual comments about women and children who walk near them. I'm not saying women are not bad as both genders do the same thing, I'm not going to say it's all men because that's a stupid thing to say, but I found it more common in men. This is my opinion, you might not be around men like that but u have that's why asked the question. I'm not looking to start a Gender war of who is better and who is worse

Thank you for clarifying. I know what you're talking about happens, but in my expereince where I live and where I grew up, it's uncommon. And I don't think someone saying it's "hot" when you burped is necesarily an example of disrespecting you or sexualizing you. Just sayin.
