Do guys like looking at a girl's nails, especially with nail polish on? I've had two straight guys whom I was interested in at the time (both work colleagues from two different jobs I had) look at my nails on separate occasions. Is it simply an excuse to hold the lady's hand? Is it simply flirting?
I think the only people who ever looked very closely at my nails were either parents or health instructors at school. Sometimes a female friend will notice I had my nails done. Guys don’t tend to notice unless your hand is right in front of them on a table, for example, along with the place settings and the food.

Toenails are a big thing for me, but I appreciate a nice manicure, as well.

I wouldn’t say like looking at, but I often notice and will comment, especially if they’re unusual or I like someone.
