Just out of curiosity and crossed my mind when my guy friends and I talked about what they like about their girl (I'm one of the boys). I am the person who always gets their nails, and hair done because I like taking care of myself and it's a ME time. I don't do it for my significant other. I do it just for me. What are ur thoughts?

Look at my screen name. LOL Yes, I love long nails on a woman, but not plastic ones, rather natural ones or gels/acrylics over natural ones. I think it's great that a girl likes to take care of herself in that way, but again, I think plastic looks fake, feels fake and simply put - they're not nails. I'd rather see a girl with shorter nails that are her own than plastic.
I prefer it when girls go for a all natural look and try to keep things practical, so no colour or length. That said, it's definitely not a deal breaker if she occasionally does the opposite. Just, please don't make that the norm, if you get my meaning.
I get it. I just wanted to know if guys like it when their girls get their nails done. I don't usually pay attention to my man if he notice it. I just know it's just for me. He usually compliments then if he like the color or something. 🤷🏻♀️ it's just a convo because my guy friend and I are talking g about it over beer. Lol
Also, with all natural I didn't just mean the nails. Hair, makeup, body, you name it. Like, it's nice to be there with them and help them with it, you know. But I prefer just seeing their natural beauty not hidden away by all sort of changes.
I agree!! My boyfriend like to watch me get ready for some odd reason. Lol or when I get home from work he just sits in the bathroom talking to me when I take off the make up and stuff. Lol sometimes he just join in on the skincare routine. He said it's relaxing 🤷🏻♀️🤣
Yeah, because it is. I love watching girlfriends and just female friends doing their makeup or removing it, both in person and when say video chatting etc...

This girlfriend of mine used to make me go to the nail salon with her. It can be a learning experience for a guy, because as guys we usually we just cut our own and consider it frivolous. But, I think more guys should learn about self care and valuing themselves enough to get massages, facials, etc, because it helps you focus on your self worth. Plus, she was a trip, and it was a wonderful bonding experience.

Lol I usually do this for me because it's my ME TIME and never thought about what my man thinks of it because I think he doesn't notice it OR maybe he does🤷🏻♀️ I don't know (I think like a guy most of the time). As long I have the nails, I can scratch his back. That's all I know he cares about Lol
I have a boyfriend but I don't expect him to pay for it. Lol usually when I don't feel lazy I do it myself because I'm Cosmo. When I am lazy to do it, I usually go to the salon and get it done but I think it's more for me not for him. 🤷🏻♀️ What I do expect him to pay is food and dates. Lol that's more expensive. Lol
I prefer either natural or maybe a French manicure. I'm definitely not a fan of those long fake nails. Perhaps for a rare special occasion or something, but not day-to-day. My only real exception to the "prefer natural" is body hair - in that one case, the less you have, the better. But even then, it's removing something, not adding something.
I don't mind if you get a manicure, but if I'm dating you, I'd want to be responsible for maintaining, pampering and worshipping your feet throughout the course of the relationship;)
It can be very pretty! It’s not something I would ever expect of my partner though. As a general, I want women to do whatever makes them feel more confident.
No, you should have short nails, otherwise I will see you as lazy. Because long nails is a handicap when working. So anyone having them isn't willing to pull their weight.
They must ne in the way so you can't be as efficient as if you didn't. So it's a handicap, you can manage to do something with handicap. But you would do a better or faster result without.
Seems pointless to me. But I work with my hands. When I see a lady with nails all done up I just assume she is high maintenance and is afraid to get her hands dirty. Its fine for some but not my type.
