Guys, We saw each other in public. His friend tapped him, whispered something, and he turned around and lit up and smiled but didn’t talk to me. Why?

We both like each other but he keeps saying he’s not sure on making it official or not and I don't know if they were talking bad about me

Hmm that is kinda weird he didn't come talk to you if he saw you! Could be a few possible reasons:

- His friend might have been messing with him/teasing him about liking you. Some dudes get shy if their boys clown them too much.

- He could be confused about where you guys stand since he said he's unsure about making it official. So he didn't know how to approach you in public.

- If a lot of people were around, he may have felt awkward and on the spot if his friend pointed you out. Performance anxiety lol.

- I doubt they were saying anything bad about you since he smiled. Probably just something his friend thought was funny to point out.

I'd text him later and be like "so what was your boy whispering to you earlier 👀" And see how he reacts. Hopefully he opens up about what was said and where his head is at with you two. Don't overthink it yet! Some guys are just socially clumsy sometimes.
