Why would a guy follow a girl on social media if he had a falling out with her?

While I don't agree with this — it's a type of obsessive, unhealthy behavior that is unhealthy for the guy — I have seen guys frequently "check in" on their ex wives/gfs to see what they're up to, if they're happy, etc. etc. It usually ends with the woman finding out and blocking them….

Not really. What I mean is… she’s curious enough to friend/follow you (or whatever it’s called on whatever platform you’re talking about). It is not a sign of further interest or desire.
