Can a guy or girl's social media make them more or less attractive?

Guys and girls, can someone's social media presence make them more or less attractive to you as a potential date? If so, what do you like to see on their social media? And what are some habits or red flags that can make them less attractive?

I'll go first:

Things that can make a guy more attractive:

  • He follows self-help accounts, therapy accounts, philosophical accounts or an account like Jay Shetty
  • He posts traveling pictures or nature pictures
  • He doesn't post all the time
  • His posts have humorous, down to earth or wholesome captions
  • He has pictures of his family or pets on his social media
  • If he posts funny memes on his stories or things that make me laugh

Things that can a guy less attractive:

  • His name is under almost every girl I know's half-naked pictures (meaning he likes all of them)
  • He follows Dan Bilzerian or Andrew Tate
  • Almost all of his "following" is girls, especially pornstars or OnlyFans models
  • If his feed is full of topless mirror selfies and not much else
  • If he posts constantly on his story (this is not so much a turn-off, but it's more attractive when he doesn't post constantly.)
