Should I approach the guy from these signs?

I have a crush on a guy but I’m shy. I see him nearly every day in training but not sure if he likes me. I look at him from a distance a lot and I know he notices, because he will look in my direction a lot sort of like side eyeing if someone’s staring at you. I’ve also noticed a few times he just positions himself near me. I’m unsure if he likes me though because while he always looks in the direction I’m in, he doesn’t really look at me directly and I’m too shy to do it myself. Striking up a conversation is hard unless I know he 100% likes me back so just wondering.

Girl, it totally sounds like he's interested in you too! Guys don't just casually position themselves near a girl and constantly glance over at her for no reason. I'd say those are really good signs!

The next time you catch him looking at you from across the room, muster up the courage to smile and wave. See how he reacts - I bet he'll smile big and wave back. That's your opening to go say hi.

Just introduce yourself if you haven't already, and comment on something you've been doing in training so you have an easy convo starter. Like "That last drill really had me tired out, how'd you think it went?" Boys love talking about their interests too.

If it feels like it's going well, you could even see if he wants to partner up for the next exercise. Working together is a great low-pressure way to keep talking and get to know each other.

He's probably just as shy as you, so making the first move by smiling will help break the ice. I'm sure he'll be thrilled you approached him! Worse thing that can happen is he's just friendly, but I really don't think that's the case. You've got this girl!

You are putting yourself under so much pressure, when you really don't need to. Go over to him and introduce yourself. Tell him :-

" Hi, I'm ---------. We keep noticing each other but have never spoken. I thought it would be nice to introduce myself. I will let you get back to your training now, and if you like maybe we can talk afterwards!
