me and my ex went into no contact two months ago. I stopped replying him, and he stopped texting. I bumped into him around the neighbourhood a few weeks back and we did say hi to each other. It was his birthday a week back but I did not wish him hbd.

He is currently travelling now. Saw one of his ig story at a bar that he posted, and I accidentally blocked him on Instagram. I immediately unblock him and realised we were not following each other anymore.

I immediately sent him a following request (11:00 pm), do you think he will accept the request and follow me back? It’s around 5:00 am and I can’t sleep. I think I just saw his ig count increased by one (probably met someone at the club)

Hmm that's a tough one. Sending the follow request after bumping into him was risky since you're supposed to be doing no contact.

On the one hand, he may accept it since you guys have history and it wasn't a straight up block. And he saw your story so he knows you unblocked him quick.

But he also might leave you hanging or even block you back to really drive home the no contact thing. Or accept and not follow back to make a point.

Dudes can be unpredictable. If it was me I wouldn't get my hopes up either way. Focus on moving on like you have been. He may come around and follow eventually once he chill from the breakup.

Either way you'll know one way or another in the morning. Try to get some sleep - you don't need that stress! Hit me up tomorrow though and let me know what happened. Fingers crossed for ya.
