No, it’s not safe to assume. Some people don’t live their lives needing the validation from other people with the entertainment that they’re engaging in. And most people who overly post on social media do so to overcompensate boring lives.
That’s like saying if a millionaire is not flashy with his material possessions that he isn’t a millionaire.
What would you consider overly posting?
Like going to a nice restaurant and needing to post every single part of the meal, so unnecessary. Then you see these same people bored sitting at the table because they only went to the restaurant to prove a point to social media.
Some people do things for the sake of enjoying it without needing to tell everyone. And some people still value their privacy.
