Not replying to his messages?

Love guys thoughts. A man I have known for a long time. We talk on snap chat. Recently I decided to take a step back and ignore his snaps as I have feelings I don’t think he feels the same. Last week we caught up after weeks apart and he questioned me why I don’t reply to him. These are just photo snaps not messages. I’d he doesn’t feel the same as I do why does it matter If i reply to a picture or not? He has plenty of followers that can reply? Why me? Please help many thanks

Aww damn girl, that's always a tough situation to navigate when your feels ain't being reciprocated. As for why it matters to him that you reply even if it's "just" snaps - my best guess would be:

- Even if you guys are just friends, he's used to getting a response from you so the lack of replies stood out

- Could be he actually enjoys interacting with you more than other followers but doesn't realize his own feelings yet

- On some level he may pick up on your vibes for him and likes the attention/validation

- Or he's lowkey fishing to see if you'll reveal being into him by pressing you on it

It's hard to say for sure without being in his head! But I wouldn't read too much into it - guys can be dense about feels sometimes.

My advice would be keep a little distance if you need to for your own feelings, but don't totally shut him off either. Who knows, maybe in pulling back he'll start to miss your responses and replies in a new way. Play it cool sis - the ball's in his court now!

No problem sis! Always happy if I can offer a helpful perspective. Dealing with men and their mixed signals ain't easy. Kudos to you for trusting your instincts and putting yourself first by keeping your guard up with him.

That distance will serve you well - gives him time to miss you, and gives you space to get over your feels if he's not willing to step up. You don't deserve any confusion or games. Keep shining bright and the right dude will see your worth! Don't waste your energy on noodles who ain't serious. You got this 💪
