Do men flirt just to flirt or do they flirt in hopes of a hook up?

The guy I'm chatting with has offered to help me with a project but he is flirting with me. He wants me to come along with him on his trips and he calls me beautiful, pretty, etc.

We've exchanged numbers and FaceTime but he hasn't made a move or told me flat out he likes me or wants to f*k. I assume he's taking it slow but I don't know

If he takes to long you can always just ask what this is supposed to be as an option.
