Snapchat streak?

A guy always sends me a snap first, continues sending snaps even when I don't snap back. And when I let the streak die 4 times, he restores the streak 4 times and continues sending snaps. Just 1 snap a day though and nothing too private or personal, and we don't talk that much. Does this mean anything? Why does this guy keep doing this?

I have a 415 day streak with my ex boyfriend. I started the streak when we were dating and yeah it broke when we broke up, but he restored it... He'd been sending me snaps and I felt some type of way about being the one to let such a long streak die (childish I know) that I would send him one back. It actually did break again a few weeks ago when he didn't open my message, so I didn't send anything else, and I was actually relieved that the streak was over but he said he had lost his phone and restored the streak... I felt guilty to let it die again after he restored it so I sent him a snap but I told him that one day the streak is probably going to have to end (obviously if we date new people). I'm totally over him. I don't know from his part, maybe he just doesn't want to let a long streak die... I don't know.

In your case it seems pretty obvious that this guy likes you since you have a short streak. Either that or he's obsessed with streaks or something.

I mean what's the point of a streak? It only holds any value when you're building memories with someone..

Thank you for your story and opinion :) lol our streak's only like 50 days when this streak ending episodes happened. I really want to know what this guys' intentions towards me when he keeps doing this so I could proceed. It's not like he's texting me anyways so I don't get it.

If he's not texting you, then I'd guess he's just interested in keeping the streak going

I really think some people get fixated on certain aspects of their social media and turn it into a hobby. I have a couple friends who do this too, being so invested in their streaks and stuff, I can never understand it.
