Why would a guy hook up with a girl who has a boyfriend?

Found out the guy I’m talking to has hooked up with a girl who has a boyfriend before and he knows about the boyfriend. Why would a guy do that? Does this means a cheater too?

Whoa, hooking up with someone who has a boyfriend is super messed up. A few reasons a guy might do that:

- He's disrespectful and doesn't care about messing with someone else's relationship. Just wants what he wants in the moment without thinking about the consequences.

- He might get off on the "thrill" or excitement of doing something forbidden. Wants to prove he can get someone to cheat or something.

- Low self-esteem, wants to feel important by taking another guy's girl, even if it's wrong.

- Doesn't value commitment or loyalty in relationships. May not think monogamy is that important.

As for if it means he'd cheat too, it's hard to say for sure. But it definitely shows a lack of respect for boundaries and commitment. Personally I wouldn't mess with a guy like that. Chances are high he wouldn't think twice about cheating himself if something "better" came along. I'd be very careful and maybe think about if that's really someone you wanna trust. Up to you though! Just my two cents.

The real question is why would she hook up w a dude when she has a boyfriend? As to your question he’s just hooking up w her cause she’s willing to give him pussy w out commitment. She’s not girlfriend material that’s for sure. Obviously her boyfriend has t figured this out yet. Sounds like he does t respect her relationship. But even worse is she doesn’t respect her relationship. He’s not in a relationship, she is. Could also be that he gets off on it. K owing that he’s plowing chicks who are in relationships. A lot of guys do not care about other guys. If they can sleep with your girl they are perfectly happy to. A few of my guy friends used to sleep with each others girlfriends, until it became like revenge for 2 of them and they kept doing it to each other lol. I was also friends with a guy with a girlfriend and I think he wanted to sleep with me and we would always hangout with each other at work and hug and say "I love you" to each other when we were leaving. I never messed with him because he was already cheating on his girlfriend with other girls. I wasn't interested but I did really like his personality and he was fun to joke around with.

But I did know a guy who slept with a girl who had a boyfriend, and a different woman who was married, but when he got a girlfriend he was loyal to her. I wouldn't consider him a rule of thumb though.

I can think of a lot of reasons:

a.) Most likely: He just loves sex with lots of different women & she is easy to get sex from. Could be he did most of the work to get her or they both did work.

b.) He has what they call a "save a ho" mentality. She gave him a great sob story about how her boyfriend is abusive and he feels he has to rescue her. Naturally she's very attractive too.

c.) He is running a charity where he tries to find cheaters so he can help their boyfriend figure out she's not worth taking seriously. If she says no to sex she passed the test. If she says yes she failed. And if she failed she's not REALLY the other guy's girlfriend. She is just pretending to be his girlfriend.

d.) a & b

If a guy only does it once, it could be b. If he's doing it all the time it could be a or c.

I would say it falls on the person in the relationship to uphold celibacy.

That being said: if my girl cheated on me I would most probably seek retribution on the guy as well. Because him knowingly taking my girl is a form of personal attack.
