If a guy always kind of smile and ask "Why are you here" everytime I go and see him, is it good or bad?

We're not dating, more like colleagues. Everytime I just randomly go find him at work place when he's working and I'm not, he always kind of smile (not the big ones) and ask me why am I here. He never sounded shocked/irritated and I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if his behaviour is a good thing?

Aw man, that's tricky. With guys, it's really hard to know for sure what their deal is sometimes!

A couple things that could be going on:

- He might actually enjoy the little visits and chats. Like it breaks up his day and he likes seeing you. The smiling is a good sign.

- Could be he's shy or bad at flirting. So asking "why are you here" playfully is as much game as he knows how to make. Some dudes are socially clueless!

- Potential he's just being polite/friendly since you work together. Doesn't want to seem rude or make things weird between you.

- Or possibly he's just indifferent either way and keeps it casual so it's no big deal.

Honestly I'd say keep doing your thing - pop by when you feel like it. See if over time he warms up more, seems happier to see you, finds excuses to chat a bit longer.

If he seems to genuinely light up, then you've probably got a little something there! But if he stays lukewarm, maybe just stay coworkers. Hard to say 100% either way, so I'd go with your gut on this one sis!
