Have you totally lost your patience with people? Especially businesses you have to deal with such stupid people?

A few days ago I ordered a ceramic plant pot. The UPS guy slams the box down at the door and takes off down the hallway. I could hear that he broke it.
So I yelled down the hallway "You slammed it down and it's broken" he just kept walking so I yelled "Asshole. He just kept walking.
Why would he do that? Is he crazy? Sadistic? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lazy, and unconsciencious is more like it. (I don't care if it's spelled wrong! Even spell checker doesn't know how to spell it!!)
About 15 years ago, I bought myself a used Teac open reel tape deck. I've been wanting one ever since the mid `70's!! It uses 10" reels, plays and records in both directions and it even had a clear plastic lid on it that covers the reels when they're playing! Just like the lid that covers a turntable. I'd never even seen anything like that before! I bought it on eBay for $1000. It was a REALLY nice machine! It was being shipped from Michigan to Pa.. The guy selling it fixes them as a hobby or as his job. It gets to my house and the cardboard box it game in was mangled and had a big hole in the corner! I opened the box and the lid was smashed to pieces and at least one of the plattens was pushed into the face of the deck and the only thing I could do with the machine was turn it on and off! It also cost me $100 to ship it!! I called up the delivery service (UPS) and complained and also told the seller what happened. Of course, UPS wanted pictures and I think they even sent someone to inspect it! They agreed that it was their fault and I had to return the machine to the seller to get my $1000 back but that meant, I'd have to blow ANOTHER $100 to ship it back!! So, I blew $200 and got absolutely nothing for it!! A few weeks later, I found another one similar to that and bought that. This time, it showed up in perfect shape! But, this one didn't have a lid. I still have it (downstairs, right now) and it still works.

Also, about a year ago, I bought a box of records (45's) from someone on eBay. I think there were supposed to be 150 or more in the box. The box got here bashed up and only 26 of the records were in it! The seller and I had contacted the Post Office about it and asked if they could trace it and find where the other records went. They tried, got nowhere, fast! Seller gave me a partial refund for the records I didn't get.

It might have been having a bad day and thought, '**** it, she'll get a replacement one free?'

Well, they just credited my account. No free replacement.
But why put a total stranger through such a hassle? And it was a hassle!!
Crazy black guy! I'm calling UPS to see if I can report him.
For all I know he does that all day long 🤷🏼‍♀️

Take my word for it, you won't get anywhere. They are insured up to the hilt for things like this, and all it will do is aggravate you further..
My advice would be put the whole experience behind you. go and watch some tv with a hot mug of tea and just drift off in to a relaxed state.
You'll feel better I promise >:D< << there's a hug for you too because I know how exasperating it's been. I've had it all happen before too..

Welcome to the world today. Where people have no respect or compassion for other peoples lives. Along with no sense of responsibility. Take a deep breath before calling UPS. If the package was insured. You may get the value of the item. But it won’t replace your loss.

My UPS guy is great! He always treats my packages with respect. UPS drivers make $50 an hour. You would think he would kiss your butt as you give him work. Sounds like someone who hates their job. 🤔

That's time honored way of getting rid of unhappy customers. Immediately ask to speak to supervisor as soon as you get any resistance.

Oh, they have an answer for asking for the supervisor "I'm the supervisor".
They all use that answer.
Then if you say then I want to speak to the Manager, "He's on vacation this week".🙄

Patience is something I always strive to maintain, however folks get limited number of chances -- like in baseball, three strikes and you're out. This prevents people from wasting my time, energy and resources.
