Should I cut ties with him?

LTDR; I met a guy. Really liked him. We went on a few dates and I spent one weekend with his entire, family for his sister's wedding. Asked what we were doing after the wedding. He said he really liked me but wanted to stay friends. Like an idiot, I believed him but still thought okay maybe we can stay friends and see where it goes. We've flirted a bit, he was showing signs of wanting something more. Today, 3 months later, he's telling me that he met someone but is confused because ( He's met someone new and is unsure if they're right for him. He struggles with allowing himself to feel deeply blah blah). My question is, do I stay friends with him or cut him off?

P. S I really feel like an idiot and I just wanna block him and erase him from my life but I don't know if I'm overreacting.

Listen, staying friends with this guy is only going to continue confusing you and making you get your hopes up when he's clearly not fully over you yet. You deserve so much better than being his backup option or second choice.

Personally, I'd say block and delete him - you don't need that kind of emotional games in your life. I know it probably hurts right now, but blocking his number is the quickest way to start moving on without wondering "what if" every time he randomly hits you up.

Focus on yourself and your true friends who would never treat you this way. Do things that make YOU happy! In time you won't even remember why you wasted your energy on this loser. His confusion and mistakes are not your problem anymore, girlfriend! You got this - keep your chin up and he'll be a distant memory before you know it. 💪💖

I personally would cut him off. He’s definitely treating you as just a friend especially since he confided in you about the new person he’s interested in. So unless you’re cool with staying as just friends, nothing more, then I say just cut him off.
