He loved me and rejected me. He had huge ego issues as well since I rejected him really hard. Fast forward we decided to be flings. I was ok. He didn’t like me drinking, smoking or talking to other boys. He kept saying ‘your body belongs to me only’ but never had sex.
So I hooked up with others. He came all angry and pissed. He acts like hurt. The only thing he asks me now is if I actually had sex.
And when common friends ask he says ‘we used to talk really well in the past and gradually stopped’ while he was the one one stopped after knowing I hooked up.

I feel like the issue is that you two have not clearly defined the relationship terms. You said you are only flings but he doesn't see it that way. I think the best thing that you should have done after you rejected him or he rejected you (I dont know anymore) would've been to just end the relationship for good and be friends. The offering to be a fling can mess someone up mentally and emotionally. Sex isn't something you want to be playing around with. Its serious business

As for the rejection part, I rejected him first then around the time we met after years he rejected my romantic interest.

Of course he feels betrayed, he expected exclusivity, and you didn't tell him you weren't okay with that, unless you left that part out.
