Maybe he has a possible other motive for you but is nervous to do so because he knows it’s a bad characteristic on his part? The last guy I talked to was like this where he was nervous around me but it’s because he wanted to be a fuck boy, but knew it was shitty of him because he knew I’m a good person.

That makes sense, also the guy is in his 40’s and recently divorced so I don’t know whether it’s the age gap and his divorce and the fact that he’s my guitar teacher makes it trickier lol 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

embarrassment doesn't mean he likes you... but it can with time transform to dislike... no one likes to feel embarrassed...

Some men are simply intimidated by women and there is nothing wrong with jokingly flirting with someone you consider a friend that is the opposite sex. It makes the friendship fun/interesting.

Maybe you give him "me too entrapment" vibes. I used to work with this one woman that had pathological need to be desired by every guy. She'd flirt with me and I would rebuff her. It got to the point that I never wanted to be in an area alone with her because I thought she might fabricate a story to get me in trouble out of spite.

I mean he might not know he seems to be flirting, I have no idea honestly what counts as flirting or how to so I guess some things I do could be classed as flirting. But I don't know enough about the guy to say more.

The getting nervous and blushing thing I kind of do that a fair bit around people in general as I struggle socially. I don't blush much but I'm always nervous, that could be the reason behind his behaviour.
