Tells me he doesn't 'like' like me, but flirts anyway?

My guy friend told me he didn't like me as more than a friend a few months after I had told him I liked him. He has his days/nights where he'll just keep flirting with me, and as a joke I'll ask him if he's been drinking (he's 23), and he says he hasn't. So it always makes me wonder if he maybe does like me as more than a friend and he's just been hiding/denying it for some reason, plus he sends a lot of mixed signals to me. It gets really confusing. And he's also told me that he's more into redheads (I have light brown hair).

But I've liked him since back in June, and it's killing me inside knowing he's not into me the way I like him. He constantly teases me though, and calls me "adorkable". Which I'm not going to lie, it's cute, lol

I just can't take the fact that he says he doesn't like me that way, yet flirts anyway.

Help, please? Opinions. Advice. Anything? I appreciate it!

To me it sounds like he is a little confused. He could be just playing around with you by flirting or he could actually like you and be afraid to admit it. He sounds like he is a little bit immature and doesn't know what he wants. The best advice I can givw is to continue being his ffriend and flirting and if it finally gets to be too much tell him that you like him but if he doesn't like you, you need to find someone else. this would also be a good way to see how he reacts to the thought of you moving on, and it is also true. If he doesn't indicate interest and he doesn't want to date you, you need to find someone else who does like you and isn't afraid to admit it.

well it sounds like he likes you as a friend but is a horny young guy. it can be confusing but so are young people. just know your beautiful. and the best way to flirt is be your self. also lots of complements to each other help. just remeber he wouldn't be there if he didn't like you as a person.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to ya.

But he's actually not someone to go out and just have sex with anybody... (he's actually Not sexually active that often, don't ask how I know, lol long story). But he's a really nice guy. Sometimes an ass around his family, but he obviously cares about me. And also in the time that I've asked this question, he's become more flirty and sending things like "muah" (either random or right before bed) when we're texting each other.
