Apologizing for Sexual assault?

A guy sexually assaulted me on a first date and then apologized a few days later. He even asked if I was ok, since I wasn’t responding to his texts. I’m not engaging with him but why is he apologizing?

Because he realised that he went too far. Not all guys are self centred jerks some guys actually reflect their actions and he probably came to the realisation that he acted wrong on a first date. He apologised because he wants you to know that he knows he did wrong aside from whether or not there is no future between the two of you.

These days men who are husbands are being attacked for raping their own wives, how come you could of just sit still and did nothing against a stranger who raped you? 🤔

I mean if he was your husband, yes it can work with an apologie because in a real marriage, there is no such thing as rape but anything outside marriage is rape!
