Why are guys always staring at my face as they walk by? My friends insinuate that I’m not super beautiful so I’m confused?

Just because your fiends insinuate something doesn't make it true. Also beauty is very much subjective. They could even be jealous of you because you are pretty. So those are some of the reasons not to listen to what other people say. Maybe these guys that pass you find you very attractive. What is attractive to one person might not be to the next. I guess why are you worried about it? Is it bothering you are something that they are staring? There isn't much you can do about that when out in public. People stare and look around. That is just the way it works. It is public and nothing you can do about it if it is something that is bothering you. If it isn't... why worry?

Well just about every girl gets stared at but just cause your friends say you're not beautiful doesn't mean it's not true. Obviously you were attractive enough to those guys if you caught their attention.

Maybe they are unsure whether they can approach you or not so they look at your face to get a sign from you how you feel about them. It´s harder for guys to understand body language but your smile or the face you make when they look at you is something guys understand.

Your friends might see you as not super beautiful but that doesn´t mean that guys don´t. I´m not a woman but could it be that they talk down your looks to feel better in their body.

Everyone has different taste, if I’m out with say 6 friends, not everyone will check out the same girls, sometimes 2-4 do but the other 2 don’t. Also they can be a load of reason people look at others, I often do it if she has nice hair cut, tattoos, or if she just has something different.
I really would just relax with it and accept it goes on and just get used to it.

You might be pretty, you might have something weird about your face or you might have a look that is drawing attention. No one here would know unless you've posted pics.

Regardless, your female friends will typically drag you down if you're super pretty, so their opinions shouldn't matter to you.
