Why do men not care if you get sick/cancer?

I had a health scare recently and I told my now ex that he should get tested. He told me he already got tested but I told him he was the only person I've been with sexually all these years but now I'm at risk for cancer.

He told me that's not his problem but he still wanted to see me to have SEX after I told him I just had a health scare relating to cancer. I feel like he caught something and didn't tell me and then gaslit me saying it's not his problem but he still wants to fuck me.

I've been so disgusted by his behavior. He has no compassion or regard for my health. Maybe he was messing around with other women and didn't tell me and God had to tell me with this check up.

I'm thankful the cells are not active and that I don't have an STD or autoimmune disease but I'm still heartbroken that my health is put in jeopardy and all he cares about is having sex but not my health or telling me the truth.

I mean he is an ex for a reason. I will be honest. I'm married. I have been with 7 women including my wife. There are only two that I would be that cold to, one cheated on me, and one was abusive. Both could be burning alive on the side of the road, and I'd only stop to. Piss on the ashes.

The rest I don't care too much about but I would feel like shit if they were sick, or had cancer, or some how came to harm, because I don't hate them. Would I show that I cared though? Only in that I hope for their continued existence.

Well in all honesty he’s your ex. He’s moved on. He has every right to care of not care. He’s your ex for a reason. You can’t force him to care. Sometimes that type of STD can stay in your system for years w out showing up. So it may be possible that he doesn’t have it. But if he’s the only person you’ve ever been w than it probably came from him. You just need to get your recommended checkups. Stress can cause your immune system to weaken, which can cause your immune system to not be as strong at fighting this. Which can cause breakouts. Have you asked about finding out what strain it is. There’s numerous strains, some put you at more risk. But don’t take my word for it, you need to do more research. This is just my knowledge from working in medical.

But if it’s painful for you to have sex and he isn’t grasping that concept , then you are best to end it with him and tell him to get it elsewhere

The doctor said I'm at risk for cervical cancer bc he could have the hpv virus and infected me with having sex with multiple partners unprotected. I never had sex with anyone outside of him and he doesn't care about my diagnosis. He wants to keep having sex with me

Cancer isn't contagious, so I'm confused why you would think that he might be responsible for a cancer scare, unless you're implying it's not cancer, but an STI or STD.

I would think that any normal loving and caring partner would care if their partner had any kind of health issue come up and be as inquisitive and supportive as they can be.

The doctor said at my screening I have to get a vaccine and am at risk for cervical/uterine cancer. They said it's caused by a having multiple sexual partners. I've never been intimate with anyone besides him for over 4 years. I'm still not having sex even after we've broken up but he is.

What they're saying doesn't add up to me. They said it's caused by YOU having multiple sexual partners. Not your partner. And if you haven't been intimate with anyone besides him for over 4 years, how could you have what they're saying? How many sexual partners did you have before those 4 years?

I only had him as my experience and I told them I was no longer active since June when we broke up. You can get HPV from your partner having multiple sex partners unprotected and bringing the virus to you. If you don't know this, you should speak with an OBGYN and they'll explain it.
