So I know this dude that I've been talking to for 2 years now and has already confronted me with his feelings and so did I, but I did tell him not to make anything official as I'm not yet ready to be in a relationship especially with him since it's long distance!

Now when it comes to texting we literally text everyday however he tends to ghost me on weekends, tbh didn't think much of it before but now it does drive me crazy - it makes me think he doesn't value me as much as he values his homies and that's bc every single weekend he's out hanging with them drinking and eating whole night long apparently no time for him to even text "Good Morning" now when he does this I get bold and do the same thing in return leave him on delivered just like he does to me for 2-3 days least as if it'd matter to him sighhh

On weekdays he goes above and beyond for me but completely ignores me on weekends how sickening is this!! Was I just a getaway way for him to get distracted from work and the pressure of work that's why he talked to me in the first place?

Girl, I completely feel you on that frustration! The inconsistent behavior would drive me nuts too.

It's one thing to want guy time on weekends, but to totally ghost you for days is lame. Like he can't spare 2 seconds to send a quick text? And then doing the same thing back to him - that's honestly pretty funny. Bet it bugs him!

I can see why you're questioning what you mean to him now. On one hand he goes all out during the week, but then it's like you don't exist on his nights out. That is shady behavior for someone who's claimed feelings for you.

I'd have a talk with him and just be straight up - tell him the ghosting weekends make you feel like you're not a priority. See what he says. His response will really show where you stand. That's not a normal way to treat someone he supposedly cares about. Maybe he was just using you for attention during the lonely work week...

Don't settle for being an option only when it's convenient for him. You deserve better than that rollercoaster bullshit!
