Him and I met about a year ago and both made it clear from the beginning we both were not looking for anything serious. I set boundaries that there would be no sleep overs and limit any hanging out. It worked for a while and then he was bothered and said he felt like I only wanted him for one thing. Started to ask me to spend the night/hang out. We started to spend a lot of time together cuddling , watching shows , going to the movies. Recently he hasn’t been wanting to have sex and says he just doesn’t have the drive. He still calls me everyday and texts me and still wants me to come sleep over and watch movies with him.. am I crazy to believe that he’s not attracted to me like that anymore. I just don’t understand why he would wanna spend so much time together but not have sex. Did he friend zone me? lol

He may have. He may be tired of the sexual part and just want to spend time with you. He did say he doesn't have the drive. Maybe stress or work or whatever is causing that and instead of just ghosting you until he wants sex he wants to keep you active with him other ways. He might be scared that you will get bored if forgotten about and move along. If you just boil it down to sexual encounters and he doesn't have the sex drive or need for sex then you two presumably would not be talking since it is purely friends with benefits. I think that maybe in his head he would think that you would move on to someone else if that happened. So his best plan was to keep doing stuff with you and maybe we he gets that drive back then it will transition back to the friends with benefits. That is one possiblity.

From what I've seen and heard that happens a lot. friends with benefits never seems to work out. Maybe tho he wants to be more than friends and doesn't only want sex with you. He is wanting to spend time with you still so maybe that's his fancy way of letting you know he wants more than just sex. The best thing for you to do, is communicate it with him. People can become lonely or bored and want somebody as a stand-in to ease one or the other.
