It does not automatically mean that he likes the GIRL but he would certainly like to get into her pants. That is always the ultimate goal of anyone attempting to draw the attention of another person. This is the main reason nowadays why someone wants to be with a girl.

People are no longer interested in being in a long term relationship but all that is needed is to be sexual and that is the end of the story.

Of course that this guy is interested in that girl but not for her intellect, not for her IQ, not for her intelligence and not for her personality. it is only in the hope to get into her pants. Once he achieved what he wanted, the novelty is gone and so is he.
