Guys, can you grow a beard?

Would you get upset if the woman you're dating likes beards but you couldn't grow one?

I can, but after a certain point it gets uncomfortable. Beards are hot and itchy (once they get to a certain length). I live in Florida, so wearing a blanket on your face in summer isn't exactly fun. She can like beards all she wants. That said, I shave my face. Sometimes I have stubble or a short beard because I don't feel like shaving at times, but I'd never intentionally try to maintain and groom a beard unless I lived in Alaska or something like that. It would be practical in a situation like that.

Yes, I used to grow a beard every winter until it turned gray.

I have a Van Duke (goatee and mustache) and I could grow a full beard - if I go camping for a week I'm halfway there - so yes.

I've never tried growing a full on beard but I think it would take me longer than most, it's why I just go shave off the sides

I was talking about the chin hair, rn my chin hair is about 3 inches long so I can get a short braid going, I think to grow a full beard I would have to not shave for years 😂
