Depends on her options. Most women there is no amount of adulation that is too much for her. So rather than hide she may pull back to try encourage him to follow. She might even play him off another guy she actually likes.
It's best to not concern yourself with this stuff. Just know your worth! And what you deserve from a woman and accept NOTHING LESS. It's always better to be single then be with someone who does not properly value you.
